This is comfort zone if you dare hold it long enough on the palate. If I am visiting friends for dinner, this Sulawesi coffee is the coffee I take for the plunger…and watch the gaze of wonderment back into their bowl of bliss, as they take the first sip. Works well for a Big Night and friends forever.
The growers of the Sulawesi are steeped in ritual and maintain the integrity of their culture. This goes to the wet hulled traditional processing they use with their very small lots of beans at a household level. Most coffee is grown on small family plots around their houses and provides cash to supplement the family income. Nearly 10 years ago, agronomy education was provided to the families along with consistent processing methods to bring the luscious best from the beans.
Our Sulawesi is grown in the mountainous south on ancient volcanic soils rich in iron.
Pleasant taste, excellent strength. I love Sulawesi beans. Thanks to Jasper Coffee Team advise I have found my new favourite and life safer 😊
Intense, heavy, smooth and succulent are some words I would use to describe this coffee. Very nice as a short black.
