Its decades since I was traveled around Kenya exploring the Swahili coast, the Tana River and parts of the hinterland. When I discovered Jasper's Kenyan Yirgacheffe it was not only delicious but it offered a special connection to my younger self. Only recently did I try the Kenyan Peaberry its a little gem band another reason to feel connection to Africa!
Got this on a whim to try out. Has become one of my favourites. Has a very deep nutty -chocolaty flavour and, yes, that “Cabernet” character. Find it very refreshing and satisfying whether having it in the mornings or late evenings.
