From Lempira - a premier high-altitude coffee-producing department in western Honduras. Known for a unique microclimate with cool nights and warm days, this region produces dense, sweet, and balanced beans.

Origin story

FROM A SINGLE PRODUCER
This microlot comes from Finca Fuentes, a small 4 hectare farm located at 1,540 to 1,650 meters above sea level in the highlands of Lempira, western Honduras.

Managed by a single producer, Anain Cortez, the farm is named after the natural springs (“fuentes”) that flow through the property—a feature that not only defines its identity but also highlights the producer’s deep connection to the land. Inherited from Anain’s father, the farm is lovingly maintained using traditional practices.

THE VARIETALS AND PROCESS
Grown in clay-rich soils, the coffee is a mix of IHCAFE 90, Yellow Catuai, and Lempira varieties. It is fully washed using traditional fermentation methods and dried on patios and covered beds under the sun.

    Another great coffee

I’m trying the different blends Jasper produce and very much enjoying the different styles of coffee.

I mostly drink espresso and this coffee is beautiful with some very interesting notes that really work together. I like it for its medium roast thst really brings out the flavours without any bitterness.

I’ve tried many brands, mostly roasters in my home town of Sydney but now I’m only buying my coffee from Jasper in Melbourne!!
