Who are the Red Dust Heelers?
Drinking this coffee helps support the Red Dust Heelers, they’re a national wheelchair basketball team made up of some of the most passionate, fierce and skilled athletes you’ll ever meet.
And when they roll onto the court?
It's another level of excitement.

The Energy is Wild
It’s fast, it’s intense, and it’s honestly incredible to watch.
But the Heelers are more than just athletes. They’re community leaders. Trailblazers.
They use para sport as a tool for connection, breaking down barriers and opening up new ways of thinking about inclusion, access, and representation, especially for people living with disability.
Led by strong Indigenous voices, their work stretches well beyond the court.
Through outreach programs, workshops and conversations, they’re helping people and organisations all over the country create real, practical change.

How Does The Coffee Help Heal Country?
Our connection to the Red Dust Heelers and Outback Academy Australia goes way back to 2013, when we were first approached to find a way to work together.
Through many conversations, we figured that there was a connection between the Fairtrade system of community, helping build better futures for coffee growers, and the mission of Outback Academy Australia to work along the same lines here in Australia with First Nations Farmers.

The Coffee that Builds Community
A plan was formed to bring together coffee and people. With the help of OAA and community Elders, we bought together a blend that would give money towards the Red Dust Heelers and help them with the powerful outreach work they do.
It takes a lot of effort and money to travel all over Australia, competing week in and week out while going into local communities and doing all of their positive outreach.
Each bag of coffee not only tastes great, it puts money back into the Red Dust Heelers National Wheelchair Basketball team.
