Green young leaves are plucked and rolled into pellets for a divine infusion
A Tea that changed History.
In 1783 a British Clipper Ship left Saigon heavy with Gunpowder Green Tea, and an edict ordering the creation of an Australian tea tax. Coming under attack by a fleet of pirate Junks, Captain Wells ordered the cannons to be loaded with gunpowder, much confusion resulted and the ship was lost. Had that edict arrived, it would have led to The Sydney Tea party and a very different Australia today.
The Green young leaves plucked from the first crop are rolled into pellets up to 3mm in diameter. As they brew the leave unfurl or explode hence the name Gunpowder.
