From the land of lakes and volcanoes, this Nicaraguan bean has always held a special place in our range. The sheer elegance of this Nicaraguan coffee sets it apart from any other and with that lovely sweet nougat characteristic, it is one of the best coffees to sit down with a good book and turn the pages. Why not spend some time with our Matagalpa… Nicaraguan’s sweet, smooth and easy drinking nature makes this a versatile coffee perfect for almost any brewing method.
This was pretty good overall. Smooth, enjoyable with milk, iced or hot. I sometimes add a shot of flavoured syrup like hazelnut or vanilla, but i found their flavours pretty muted with this bean. Therefore, it’s not my favourite bean, but I would buy it again. I also liked that it was fairly forgiving if you over/under brewed it with an aeropress.
