Low acidity, soft spice, smokey sweet.

This delightful Indonesian Bourbon Pacas coffee will excited your senses!

  • Region: Toraja

    Altitude: 1400 – 1900m

    Varietal: Bourbon, Pacas, Pacamara.

    Process: Traditional hulled method

  • This is comfort zone if you dare hold it long enough on the palate. If I am visiting friends for dinner, this is the coffee I take for the plunger…and watch the gaze of wonderment back into their bowl of bliss, as they take the first sip. Works well for a Big Night and friends forever.

The growers of this coffee are steeped in ritual and maintain the integrity of their culture. This goes to the wet hulled traditional processing they use with their very small lots of beans at a household level. Most coffee is grown on small family plots around their houses and provides cash to supplement the family income. Nearly 10 years ago, agronomy education was provided to the families along with consistent processing methods to bring the luscious best from the beans.

Our Sulawesi is grown in the mountainous south on ancient volcanic soils rich in iron.

20 years of this fabulous bean every day, so many friends and family, all our time in Melbourne and continuing here by post in Hobart. Can’t be persuaded to change because when you’ve found the world’s best then ridiculous to change.

Sticking with #10

We’ve tried other blends from Jaspers and other providers, but keep coming back to number 10. We go through about 1.5kg each month and love the rich flavour of this blend. It goes perfectly with our DeLonghi Dedica. Thoroughly recommended!

This is a great, full flavoured coffee that is neither too strong nor too weak. It is my go-to coffee for my daily caffeine hit

Delicious Coffee

Great dark roast, added benefit that is it ethical and putting money in the pockets of female farmers. The only beans I buy.
