Quality Control

The Long Black of Quality Control

Back in 1989, when the Jasper Coffee journey began, we made a qualitative decision to roast and sell only coffees we like drinking. The selection comes from Tasting, Tasting and Tasting! Jasper Coffee offers only AA Grade Arabicas and Peaberry Coffees, because here lies the nuance and distinction of profound flavours found in no other beans. We elevate the distinct ‘terroir’ qualities of our Premium Estate Coffees by roasting them separately, and blending after roast.  

At our Roasting Bench, we capture copious points of data throughout the roast program, to analyse every roast of every bean, every day. We then cup these coffees in a traditional cupping method and record concise cupping notes (tasting notes).

The melding of identifiable origin beans and the alchemy of roasting under strict analytical cupping, is the only combination to ensure Addictive Excellence in Every Cup.
